Anne Stubbs (Daya Anandi)

About us

With over 18 years experience in the fitness and wellness fields, Anne has been serving the Ottawa area through public and private mind/body classes, workshops and yoga retreats. As a devoted teacher/practitioner of yoga and meditation, she promotes healthy balanced living with an enthusiastic and holistic approach. Ongoing studies with various teachers in Canada and the US, including Yogrishi Vishvketu in India, have given her deeper insights into these rich spiritual traditions, and she is currently exploring the concept of “mindful healing” in her practices through complementary approaches. Anne is excited to be able to share these teachings, and to offer ways to apply ancient wisdom to a modern lifestyle. Her spiritual name, Daya Anandi, means “kindness and bliss” – something she strives to bring to her classes and to BE daily.

Anne is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT200 and RYT500 Certified Hatha and Akhanda Yoga teacher with additional training in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Meditation, and Yogic Lifestyle Coaching. She is a Can-Fit-Pro Certified Fitness Instructor Specialist and Reiki Practitioner registered with the Canadian Reiki Association.
