Dennis Buttimer, M.Ed, CEAP, RYT, CHC is a certified coach,TEDx speaker, professional speaker, stress and mindfulness expert and author of the book, CALM: Choosing To Live Mindfully. Dennis is also a registered yoga and meditation teacher. He is a regular contributor at Huffington Post. He has also been featured on CNN, Newstalk 1160 Radio and the Pro Business Channel. He was interviewed as an expert on NBC/11 Alive on “Five Things To Say To Cancer Patients.” He and his wife Angela recently gave a TEDx Talk on “Defusing Stress With Mindful Mojo.” Their video can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=–KpJ1fatzY&t=316s Dennis has been a program developer and clinical facilitator at Chapman Cancer Wellness Piedmont Healthcare for the past eleven (11) years. He has spoken at various oncology conferences and did keynote addresses at Cancer Survivor Day in 2015 and Angels on Earth in 2016. Additionally, he has travelled around the country teaching fellow professionals on Mind-Body programming. Dennis enjoys working with individuals in private practice and facilitating retreats and corporate programs. His background includes Employee Assistance Program (EAP) management, corporate training, executive coaching and organizational development. He holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a coaching certification from Emory University.…

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration is to find some very much needed solace away from the stress of raising 4 children, working (as a dietitian) and trying to get my private nutrition counseling practice launched.
