About us

Angela Buttimer, MS, NCC, CHC, RYT, LPC is a licensed professional counselor, certified coach, professional speaker, TEDx Speaker, stress and mindfulness expert and author of the book, CALM: Choosing To Live Mindfully. Angela is also a registered yoga and meditation teacher. She is a regular contributor at Huffington Post. She has also been featured on Newstalk 1160 Radio. She was interviewed as an expert on NBC/11 Alive on “Five Things To Say To Cancer Patients.”

Angela has been a program developer and clinical facilitator at Chapman Cancer Wellness Piedmont Healthcare for the past eleven (11) years. She founded and facilitates the mindfulness program and has developed numerous specialty programs to educate and assist cancer patients and caregivers. She has spoken at various oncology conferences and did keynote addresses at Cancer Survivor Day in 2015 and Angels on Earth in 2016.  Additionally, she has taught fellow professionals around the country on Mind-Body programming.

Angela enjoys working with individuals in private practice, presenting keynote talks and facilitating corporate programs. Her background includes Employee Assistance Programming (EAP), corporate training, executive coaching and organizational development. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and a coaching certification from Emory University.

Angela is a partner at of Atlanta Center for Mindfulness & Well-Being where she is in private practice with her husband Dennis. She specializes in integrative health and wellness and chronic disease management.
