When a Peruvian ayahuasca shaman told Benito (Benny) that he was called to help others with ayahuasca plant medicine, Benny was sure he had the wrong guy. As a 10-year sober school principal and family man, he could not imagine such an unconventional role would suit him.

It was only after a firsthand conversation with the ayahuasca plant spirit herself that he stepped into his calling, and since then he has never looked back. A decade later, Benny participated in and facilitated over 1200 ayahuasca ceremonies.

Benny’s strengths as a practitioner lie in his good humor, humility, and abiding trust in the plant’s wisdom. He has witnessed and experienced the positive effects that ayahuasca can bring to our lives both as individuals and as a larger human family, solidifying our commitment to bringing this medicine to the world.

He currently resides in Mexico with his wife Deyssi, and their children, where he conducts private ayahuasca ceremonies and works with plant medicine on a constant and full-time basis. His energy healing practices similar to reiki are a unique and magical experience. He also brings a set of singing bowls that he plays during the ceremony. His chanting (singing) is out of this world and brings an elevated healing energy to the entire group.
