About The Teacher

Janet Oosterlaken has been teaching yoga in the Netherlands and just completed a fully immersive programme in traditional Hatha yoga in India at Shiva Shakti yoga school. She’s been practicing Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa (power) yoga and Yin yoga for years. 
‘Yoga to me is finding a balance between body, mind and soul. It’s finding peace and quiet within and at the same time finding your (inner) strength. In the chaotic life we sometimes live, our head is leading and we forget about our body. Yoga helped me finding a way to relax. With physical exertion achieving mental relaxation. I love to share yoga and everything it’s about with others for them to experience what yoga can do!’
