Helens personal yoga journey started 15 years ago. Working as a wildlife technician she started taking weekly classes offered in her office and was quickly hooked. Despite an increasingly dedicated practice she had NO intention of becoming a yoga teacher, her family and friends felt otherwise. Retiring from the Canadian Wild Life Service she was gifted a teacher-training package from family and friends. The experience encouraged her to share the benefits of yoga with her local rural community and she has since brought a diversity of classes to her students and found yet a deeper personal connection and commitment to yoga herself. Dedicated to broadening what she can offer to her students, Helen has recently taken additional training to complete her Level I & II Yin Yoga course and continues to share a journey of discovery with her students.
