**Presenting: Adding Color to the Riddle Scale (with James Young) ** : Sat, Oct 24th - 7pm- Combining National Coming Out Day, which is 32 years old this year, and the Riddle Scale, this workshop explores Queery’s latest art-based violence prevention project and then adds a little color to an old paradigm. Learn more about queer history and leave with a tool that could help shape your next social justice project.
About the Presenter:
Blair Perryman is the administrative assistant and a program coordinator at Queery where he manages the #queerypronounchallenge program, This program aims to normalize the sharing and asking of pronouns in the digital world, thus using social media for social change. He has volunteered as a facilitator for the weekly POC meeting for The LOFT, an LGBTQ center in White Plains and has co-taught lessons on intersectionality and oppression theory at Camp PeaceWorks, a camp for teens interested in social justice.
