[SPRING FLING HOST] Jermaine Blackwell is the newest addition to the Spring Fling team and BYS family. A native of Kansas City, Missouri and current resident of New York City, Jermaine is actor, singer, dancer, producer, content creator, comedian, storyteller, advocate, truth-teller, and potato chip connoisseur. Jermaine believes in deep connection, honest conversation and creating a safe place for those things to happen. For the past 6 years, Jermaine has acted as a founding member and coproducer of Broadway Unlocked’s #GIVEBACK Concert that benefits survivors of assault, childhood assault, domestic abuse and hate crimes. Though an advocate for those still trying to find their voice, Jermaine is a self-described “doofus” who is truly excited to join the Spring Fling team and see where our discoveries take us.
