Caitlin Marcoux

About The Teacher

Caitlin Marcoux (LMT, E-RYT) is an international practitioner of Prana Vinyasa Yoga, a certified SUP Yoga instructor,  PaddleFit coach and owner of Paddle Nantucket. She she has advanced certifications at The White Lotus Foundation, Shiva Rea’s Samudra Global School of Living Yoga, and the Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy.

As a yoga instructor, Caitlin is known for her unique synthesis of traditional Yoga practices with modern dance (BA, Dance and Choreography, Bard College, The Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts), and for infusing her teaching with wisdom inspired by her triumph over multiple cancers. In 2015 Caitlin was an honoree of the Massachusett’s General Hospital’s Cancer Center’s The One Hundred, which recognizes “100 Everyday Amazing individuals and groups each year who are changing how we fight cancer.”

In recent years, Caitlin has made multiple festival appearances, including the Unifier Festival, The Nantucket Yoga Festival, and last year was a regional headliner for the Maine Yoga Festival. This summer she will return to the LoveYoga Fest to teach both Prana Vinyasa Yoga and SUP Yoga for the third year in a row. On May 1, 2016 Caitlin was a featured presenter at the 6th Annual Yoga Reaches Out New England Yogathon in recognition of her inspiring teaching style and ability to connect large groups of students to the practice.

In 2014 Caitlin founded Paddle Nantucket, which offers a full array of SUP Yoga and PaddleFit classes, private paddle coaching, and paddle tours around Nantucket’s calm north shore. Paddle Nantucket also hosts guest teacher paddle clinics and Glide SUP Yoga teacher trainings. When she’s not racing around on her road bike or paddle board, Caitlin teaches yoga workshops and master classes and leads SUP yoga retreats and teacher trainings around the world. She has been featured in N Magazine, Mantra Magazine and Origins and her writing has been published on elephant journal and Caitlin is stoked to be an Elite Ambassador for Team Glide.
