Catalina Badilla

About us

Originally from the beautiful country of Costa Rica, Catalina found yoga after giving birth to her first child in 2003, which of course, a time of change in her life.  She was beginning the great adventure of being a mother, and yoga brings to your life a rudder to grip. At that time there was no talk of types of yoga; Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa yoga, all was known as yoga, without dividing lines of knowledge. In 2006 she traveled to Bali where she practiced with local teachers, especially with an Australian resident place your Iyengar style gives Catherine the opportunity to know the props, blocks and belts to make the practice a more pleasurable experience and It allows the student to go deeper feeling more comfortable. In 2008 she completed her first Hatha Yoga teacher training in Costa Rica, with 2 great teachers Hugo D’Ambrosio and Juan Pablo Barahoma (current director of Nutrition Conscious  Program). That same year is her arrived.  She brings new momentum to learn, to explore and to experiment. She immersed herself in the study of Anusara Yoga and has continued throughout the curriculum of this method, 3 Treacher Trainings. Currently Catalina combines her life between yoga,…
