About The Teacher
As a professional coach, yoga instructor and organizational change leader; I work with people who are committed to achieving meaningful and lasting change in their personal and professional lives. I grew up surrounded by strong women role models who taught me that everything is available and possible to someone who is passionate, resilient and willing to use a lot of elbow grease. As a result, I have a big appetite for life, am deeply committed to continual learning and am a cheerleader for those looking to achieve their dreams. My first yoga class was in high school. I immediately loved how relaxed I felt after rolling out of shavasana. During college I kept practicing as a way to stay injury-free while training for marathons. When I moved to New York in 2005, I again turned to yoga for the healing benefits; the pace of the city coupled with a rigorous work and travel schedule left me looking for something that would help me relax, become more centered and heal from old injuries.
