About The Teacher

Based in Ashtanga, Anusara, Vinyasa and Hatha yoga in traditional Indian methods.

Lara offers classes, courses, and workshops that shed light on the interpreting and incorporating the nature of yoga with all other aspects of life. We welcome your questions, feedback and insights as you and I evolve.

After graduating college Lara set off on a journey to discover herself and in 1998 she began to study yoga – which has a major impact on how she began to see herself and the world. She has been a registered yoga instructor since 2004 and teaches yoga classes regularly. From 2005 until 2007 Lara spent time doing humanitarian aid work in post-tsunami Sri Lanka and India as Program Advisor for Habitat for Humanity. Through her own journey of self discovery she has dedicated the past 15 years to helping others by blending a mind/body approach in the business and behavioral health industries.

Some of the biggest influences on Lara’s yoga journey are:  Dave Oliver, Asana Andiappan, Dharma Mittra, Michael Meade, Martin & Jordan Kirk, Ian Lopatin, David Romanelli, Paddy McGrath, Maria Garre, Lisa Cohen, Patrick Brennan, Erica Vucich, Zuzana Kolinkova and so many more.

In 2007, Lara incorporated her dream OM3 Yoga, LLC in Arizona and began teaching individual, corporate and therapeutic yoga classes.  Today, Lara instructs regular public classes at Vibetality in Chandler and Metta Yoga in Phoenix.  She teaches small group and individual Trauma Informed Yoga classes in her Scottsdale office.  Lara is also the Trauma Yoga Consultant at The Meadows IOP in Scottsdale.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To drop deep into the practices and connect with my true nature. Rubin
