Yvette is a former corporate employee gone Yogini. She lives by the mantra, “If you stop enjoying life, take action to change either your attitude or circumstances.”
In 2012, she realised her corporate career was no longer fulfilling so she hung up her corporate suits. Having had a personal interest in Eastern teachings for more than a decade, she decided to shift the direction of her life and immerse herself deeper into these ancient teachings by going on an experiential journey into the self. She put on a backpack and headed overseas. Her journey took her through Nepal, where she spent 2 months at a Buddhist Monastery, and 1 month in India studying the Bhagavad Gita.
Yvette discovered Agama while travelling in Thailand. The teachings of Agama offered a mind-body connection that she had not experienced through other spiritual teachings. She completed the Agama Teacher Training Course in 2013. Since then she has taught in India, Thailand and Australia. She teaches in English.
Yvette’s passion is the integration of these profound and timeless teachings in the ‘real’ world. She teaches others the same mind-body process to help make significant positive changes in their lives.
