About the Teacher
Why study with them?
River is a graduate of the SoundMind Institute Psychedelic Facilitator Training Program. She has twelve years of experience working with psychedelics in a variety of roles and she believes deeply in the potential of psilocybin to nurture and expand the individual and collective psyches. She is invested in providing compassionate, individualized support for clients exploring and healing with psilocybin in a space that honors their unique needs and goals.
In addition to psilocybin facilitation River is a harm reduction worker, psychedelic integration specialist, and psychedelic peer supporter as a supervisor with Fireside Project, the world’s only psychedelic support phone line. She is also a research associate in Phase III clinical trials for psilocybin- and MDMA-assisted psychotherapies for PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, and Substance Use Disorder.
