Sid’s path to healing and inspiring others was destined. A former football coach at Northern Illinois University, Sid has a BA in Movement and Sports Medicine from Purdue University and a Masters in Sports Administration from Eastern Illinois University.
Sid first began practicing Yoga to find a way to heal both physically and emotionally. As Sid developed his own Yoga practice, he realized many health benefits such as the disappearance of the asthma which had plagued him for 30 years, as well the return of the full range of motion in his fused right ankle.
Sid has also been inspired by his Native American roots that has given way to the "Nahi Warrior Flow." It was these teachings that helped Sid through the shift that took him from coaching on the field to inspiring people on the mat, and is the foundation at Sid Yoga.
Sid is committed to giving back to the community the "Teach one Reach one" program is designed to allow everyone to experience the healing gifts of Sid's teachings. For every person that enrolls in the week long teacher training they will allow us to reach out and give a scholarship to either a veteran of the armed forces, a police officer, a Native American from the reservation, a woman in need of healing or a person from the inner cities around the country.
Get ready as Sid sends out the new vibes with the "Nahi Warrior Project." Sid's music is one of the many ways Sid looks to bring peace to the world.
Sid has recently become a best selling author as he published his second book "Yoga and Life Empowerment." Keep your eyes and ears open as Sid will be launching his next book "The Spirit of the Game... and the game is life," in 2017.
