About us

Born in Colombia, South America, is a graduate in Anthropology from the University of the Andes, Bogota. Experienced Yoga Teacher at Kashmir Shaivism School of Yoga .Lina is a Qualified Iyengar Yoga Teacher by Guru Ji B.K.S Iyengar, certified in Pune- India. Lina is also certified doula and ayurveda therapist ,  specialized in yoga therapy in Bangalore India having a background on Integrative Yoga, anthropology , alignment and Therapy she teaches anatomy and physiology 


Lina studied for several years Yoga Philosophy & Jnana Yoga and as an Anthropologist she has dedicated to live and share in different cultures of India and South America the dynamic and traditional practices , for a combined living research. As part of her graduate work at Department of Human Sciences she worked in different Indigenous communities in the rainforest of Colombia writing articles of Shamanism Medicine,herbs, social situation, body movement and worked as a cultural researcher on projects for education. In India she has been studying with the Kashmiri pandit community the Kashmir Shaivism Tradition. Lina is bringing yoga as a tool for social change and is currently dedicate to the project of Restorative yoga for Women registered international with the yoga alliance, she teaches Prenatal , childbirth and postnatal Restorative Yoga based not only in her studies but as well in her own experience as a mother bringing her knowledge, preparation and life experience of the homebirth and lotus birth of her daughter . Lina is certified Pre & Post natal Yoga teacher, Baby, Kids and youth , sup yoga instructor and have taken workshops with physiotherapists , midwifes - doulas and South American indigenous midwifes

She is a yoga practitioner for more than 16 years. Her search took her to India where she lives and teach part of the time, she is also currently teaching in different parts of the world. She continues to study in Pune (Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute) . Lina also practices Vipassana and have studied Vajrayan Buddhism and sufi meditations, understanding the oneness that different cultures and mystical paths brings
