Bethany Saltman is the author of STRANGE SITUATION: A MOTHER’S JOURNEY INTO THE SCIENCE OF ATTACHMENT (Random House, 2020). Bethany is a senior lay Zen practitioner in the Mountains and Rivers Order of Zen Buddhism, and was a professor of writing and literature at Polytechnic University for many years.
