Caro Arévalo is a Peruvian visual artist based in Kingston, NY. Her work resides in the visual embodiment of the “unveiled” in the various journeys throughout her psyche, all the cells that conform our inner bodies and its connection to the outer worlds.
From her Amazonian heritage Caro embraces the importance of rituals and ancestral wisdom, of embracing our unity with nature in our daily lives. Through her paintings and videos Caro invites us to focus on our daily routines, the importance of rest, to take care of ourselves and our planet in order to stay creative, curious and aligned with our purpose in the world.
