Why study with them?
Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo earned her medical degree in 1988 from the College of Tibetan Medicine in Lhasa, Tibet. After completing her residency there, she worked with several international organizations to establish hospitals and training centers in remote regions of Tibet. Dr. Wangmo has worked on the faculty of the Shang Shung International Institute in Italy and has published a number of articles on the connection between the Tibetan astrological system and medicine.
Dr. Wangmo is part of a revival of traditional Tibetan medicine inside Tibet and was personally trained by two of Tibet's greatest doctors. She lectures and conducts teaching clinics around the world and is currently in residence at the Shang Shung U.S. Tibetan Medical Program in Conway, Mass.
