Maa Parvathy Baul is a Baul Sadhika (practitioner), teacher of the ancient Bhakti-yogic Baul path and a lineage holder of the Baul tradition and is commonly regarded as one of the most renowned Baul practitioners in the world.
As per her Guru Sri Sanatan Das Baul's vision, she created Sanatan Siddhashram: a centre for the learning, practice, preservation and archiving of the Baul tradition, which she is also developing into the spiritual university which holds traditional knowledge systems: Sanatan Siddhashram Adhyatmika Vishwa Vidya Satra.
In the year 2019, she has been conferred Sangeet Natak akademi award by Government of India and was felicitated by the Honorable President Sri Ramnath Govind, in recognition of her tireless contribution in propogating message of the Baul tradition.
The depth of her performance is rooted in her deep spiritual practice which has been described by critics as “riveting” and “spellbinding.”

or over two and half decades, Maa Parvathy Baul has performed in over 40 countries in some of the most renowned venues around the world, such as The Noh Theatre (Kyoto), The World Music Institute (New York), Musée du Quai Branly (Paris), The National Theatre (Hungary) and The British Museum (London) and many more.
