Ingrid Yang, E-RYT 500, MD, JD has been teaching yoga for over 15 years and holds certifications from the styles of Sivananda, Jivamukti and OM yoga. Her classes are dynamic and playful, upbeat and energetic, and incorporate her creative sequencing with poetic dharma teaching. As a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, her expert grasp of anatomy and human physiology bring a unique, thoughtful and joyful experience to the practice of yoga. Ingrid teaches a wide spectrum of workshops, including Yinki®, Yoga for Cancer Therapy, Yoga for Runners and more, and she has lead 200 and 500-hour teacher trainings in Australia, Asia, Europe and all over the United States. Her clientele span from professional and Olympic athletes to students working with disabilities and illnesses. Ingrid also co-authored the book Hatha Yoga Asanas, published by Human Kinetics. In her past lives, she has been an intellectual property attorney, venture capitalist, business consultant, jazz lounge singer in Australia, and founder and owner of Blue Point Yoga Center in Durham, NC.
