About The Teacher

Jodette (200 YTT) is an enthusiastic yogi with a passion for helping other’s yoga journey. She is known for her choreography of breath with asana, finding deep expression of poses, honoring each individual’s journey on the mat. Her love for yoga shines as she encourages growth while providing a safe, creative space for her students to explore their own practice.

Jodette was first introduced to yoga as a child when her mother studied Hatha Yoga with Ruth Bender. In 2013, Jodette received her 200-hour certification at Sacred Rivers in Glastonbury, CT studying with Paula Scopino. Since then, Jodette has been teaching yoga in group and private settings. In 2015 she studied Adaptive Yoga under Matthew Sanford of Mind Body Solutions in Minnesota. Jodette is currently working on her Adaptive Yoga Certification to support those living with disabilities and mobility issues. She’s had wonderful teachers/workshops including Jack Lynch, Loren Hardy, and Rolf Gates.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

After having just completed my RYT 200 I have been inspired to further my yoga journey and my own personal journey inward. I have fallen in love with yoga and how it has changed my life and I just want to continue to explore so I can share this beautiful gift with as many as possible. Jessica
