Melissa Mauro

Melissa Mauro continually searches for natural ways of healing beyond her years of training and work experience as an MD. Aside from serving as a hospitalist at Mayo Clinic and Essentia Health in Minnesota and running her private practice in New Jersey, she immerses herself in nature, among trees and plants, which she calls the muse of her creativity and fountain of youth. As an advocate for self-care, Melissa has experimented extensively with her own healing and helped countless others through meditation, herbalism, shamanic practices and additional therapies such as myofascial massage, acupuncture, and hypnotherapy.

Inspired by her own journey, she is determined to help others explore new territories of healing and growth. Her vision is to hold space for and inspire personal transformation so that people can experience true joy, freedom, and self-love. She helps people pursue their wildest dreams and share their unique gifts with the world by tapping into their soul’s ancient wisdom. In her free time, she loves hiking, tree hugging, forest bathing, reading, traveling, gardening, belly dance, yoga, meditation, cooking, crafting herbal medicines and the company of her family and friends.
