About The Teacher

Abhishek was born and raised in New Delhi, the national capital of India. His family heritage is from Kerela - situated at the southernmost tip of India and also is the home of the Ayurveda. He finished his schooling in Rishikesh & Varanasi, and began studying yoga in 2005. While he was in Varasani he met Swami Anil whose teachings on Ashtanga Yoga Philosophy inspired him to use yoga not just as a means to meditate or improve physically, but for the genuine transformation of the heart and soul. Shortly thereafter he began teaching yoga in Varanasi and other parts of India.

In 2010 he moved to the U.S. where he continued to teach and study yoga until 2015, then he moved back to India to follow their dreams to live in the Himalayas. He now teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa in Rishikesh. Abhishek works actively against human trafficking and uses yoga to help people heal and uplift their quality of life.
