About The Teacher

I’ve worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years and have developed a great appreciation for the depth and breadth of human experience. I have always had a passion for exploring and understanding the dynamic relationship of mind, body and spirit, and my work with clients has repeatedly touched me and encouraged me to pursue training in a variety of integrative treatment modalities, including Bioenergetic Analysis (a body-oriented psychotherapy), Somatic Experiencing (a method of resolving/healing trauma), Coherence Therapy (formerly Depth Oriented Brief therapy), Relational Somatic Psychotherapy (see below),  Feldenkrais Training (sensorimotor awareness and movement training) and  numerous biofeedback methods including neurofeedback (brainwave training). I currently co-lead training groups in Relational Somatic Psychotherapy (RSP) for therapists and serious students of personal growth and transformation. RSP emphasizes authentic communication between therapist and client in creating a safe and supportive relationship for exploring issues of conflict and distress. So often, client’s problem areas are linked to a deeper sense of meaning and value which often exists on an unconscious level.
