About The Teacher

Founder of Yoga Kikau, Kirinjot Kaur has more than 1,000 hours of training in the field of yoga and personal growth. She is recognized as a yoga teacher by both the FFY (Francophone Yoga Federation) and the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA) and Yoga Alliance (E-RY500). It was following the loss of one of her close relations in 1996 that Kirinjot began an identity and spiritual quest that led her towards the deepening of notions of conscience, freedom and wisdom. Convinced that yoga is a key element in maintaining her balance and motivated by the desire to share with others the fruit of her discoveries, she participates in three formations of yoga teacher – Yoga Kundalini (yoga equilibrium, 2006), yoga Kripalu (Nirvana School of Yoga, 2007) and Hatha yoga (Yoga Lyne St-Roch, 2010) – and attends numerous seminars, workshops and other trainings, both in Quebec and abroad. Kirinjot also completes her 2nd level of Kundalini Yoga training in 2013 (Kundalini Research Institute, 500hrs) and graduates Khalsa Way (prenatal yoga for pregnant women) in 2016.
