About The Teacher

Since 2005 I have been practicing Yoga in the traditions of Krishnamacharya, Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow, Satyananda and finally into the Iyengar tradition. After getting in touch with the Iyengar practice I establish this knowledge as the foundation for my practice and the teachings that I share today.

In these days I keep studying, learning and assisting to Iyengar classes in order to learn and to evolve, both as a teacher and as a practitioner.

I have also been doing a profound study into meditation. It all started in 2010 in a Goenka Vipassana meditation retreat and for the last 2,5 years with the work in the man's group of the Awakened Life Project.

Apart from that I became a Zen Shiatsu Therapist certificated by the Macrobiotic Portuguese Institute.

Why Retreat?
