About us

Jackie entered her local yoga centre in Montreal almost a decade ago. With that first step, what began as a one time experience quickly grew to a weekly “spiritual-fix”, eventually blooming into full immersion in the yoga community as one of the current owners of the Downtown (Toronto) studio. After completing her 500hr Training, Jackie continued her growth as a teacher with Schuyler Grant and Nikki Vilella (Kula Yoga NYC), Dina T. (MTL), Annie Carpenter (LA) and Maty Ezraty (LA) among others in traditions such as Iyengar, Ashtanga, alignment based Vinyasa and Hatha. Her classes are grounded in alignment while being rich with movement – she uses the breath as guide to create a steady rythmic flow. At the Downtown studio, where she teaches full time, her classes offer students the opportunity to reflect and explore. Jackie is firm believer in the importance of community along side both the spiritual and physical practice of yoga.
