Debra V. Quayle

About us

Debra V. Quayle has been on the Buddhist path for almost thirty years. She has a firm foundation in the Theravadan tradition and, while living in Asia in 2005 and 2006, she began her study and practice of Vajrayana. She has taught many meditation classes and retreats to students in a variety of settings, including in her private psychotherapy practice, in hospitals, universities, at professional conferences, in prisons, and in foreign countries. Ms. Quayle is a student of Lama Tsultrim Allione who has authorized her to teach. Ms. Quayle is Tara Mandala’s Program Director and a Resident Teacher. Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I teach yoga part time and am a mom of two toddlers full time. I love my life, but goodness do I need a break. My husband and I have been putting off our wedding ceremony for 4 years because life has gotten in the way. We haven't had a single night alone since our family has grown.
