Amy was first drawn to yoga as a teenager while on the way to her dance training she accidently stepped into the wrong room and attended a yoga class instead. She was struck by the way the class had made her feel and so continued to discover and learn about the practices of yoga for the next 17 years. During this time, she also had injuries of her own and experienced the healing power of the practice and how it allowed her to move beyond physical limitations.
She has been fortunate to have many great teachers over the years including Elena Voyce, Krishnaa Devi, Swami Saradananda and teachers of the Himalayan tradition both in London and India.
She is a Yoga Alliance 200 hour, British Wheel of Yoga Accredited Hatha Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga teacher has had the privilege of sharing this transformational practice with groups in community centres, hospitals, schools, company offices, studios and has taught many private one to one students from all walks of life.
