Why study with them?
PERSONAL JOURNEY: My name is Paula López Morist. My journey in the medicine world started in 2015 with ceremonies of four tobaccos and tipi with Matzuwa Oscar. Matzuwa comes from the Yoreme people of Sinaloa, Mexico. He has been a pilgrim of Wirikuta desert since 2007. Learning within the Wixarika tradition, he took the sacred oath as a Marakame (spiritual guide).Since then, I have devoted myself wholeheartedly to learning from different ancestral traditions: Yawanawá, Shipibo, Huni Kuin, Cofán, and Wixarika. I met their grandparents, sat in their ceremonies with master plants, and put myself at their service.
I have had the pleasure and honor of sharing medicine and organizing retreats and ceremonies for Kuauhtli Vasquez, Marakame Otakame Rogelio Carrillo, Fredy Velásquez, Waxy Yawanawá, Dario Hampi Pakari, Marakame Tereso Juventino Villa, Taita Oso Cofán, Pajé Ixa Sabino, Hushahu Yawanawá, Chief Jeremy Gordon, Shaneihu Yawanawá, Sia Txana Hubibei, Bainawá, Tema Joao, Peka Rasu, among others.
I was granted in 2019 by my masters from “El llamado de Aztlán” in Centro Ceremonial Senda Tatepoxco in Nayarit (Mexico) the fire to run inipis (sweat lodges).
I am a mother, entrepreneur, and founder of Casa Paula, a retreat centre and connection with nature and animals. I am a custodian of a sacred fire and ancestral traditions from different parts of the planet. I have been working with horses since 2007 and do energy work.
ROLE: Medicine woman. Guardian and musician of sacred ceremony space.
