Rebecca teaches yoga at our yoga retreats. She is happy, calm and grounded. She is often smiling brightly (dimples and all) sharing her passion and fun attitude towards life. Rebecca adopts a sensual, feeling nature to her classes by bringing awareness of breath in each class and using mindful movement.
Her classes will build strength in the body through the use of standing postures and abdominal exercises, but all poses are adaptable depending on your body’s individual needs on that day. This is balanced with the inclusion of both pranayama (breathing practices) and savasana (final relaxation pose) that have a quiet quality to them.
Rebecca is a Forrest Yoga teacher having completed a 200hrs training with Ana Forrest in 2015. In 2016 Rebecca did the Forrest Yoga Advanced training adding another 87hrs training. In 2017 Rebecca expects to achieve Forrest Yoga Certified Level 2 Teacher status after handing in a dissertation length piece of work in January 2017 furthering her continual study of yoga.
Rebecca has regularly attended classes in different styles: including Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa-Flow, Jivamukti, Prana Flow, Anusara and Forrest Yoga.
