Mariola Rosario (she/her) is an artist, astrologer, cartomancer, teacher, independent researcher from Borikén, the land known as Puerto Rico. She lives between Paris, Puerto Rico, and the so-called United States, tracing the contours of global collapse and finding meaning in art, myth, and esoteric traditions.
Mariola collaborates with artists, intuitives, activists, students, and ancestors—building bridges between the seen and unseen, exploring the liminal, the monstrous, and the transformative through myth, art, and astrology. She believes in co-creating revolutionary, anti-extractive spaces of learning and mutual aid that honor both the magical and material realms.
Astrology is Mariola’s principal love language—a practice she approaches as an artistic dialogue between Earth and the Cosmos. She follows Hellenistic traditions from the 2nd century BCE to the 16th century, blending ancient techniques with intuitive wisdom and her background in the arts, academia, and activism.
Her interests are interdisciplinary, spanning critical theory, visual and literary culture, mythology, languages, and autobiography. Mariola teaches and writes about myth, art, and esoteric traditions, infusing her work with feminist and queer perspectives. Whether through astrology, teaching, or collaboration, Mariola’s work invites us to explore the transformative power of the unseen.
