About us

Sandra was a news journalist and ESPN announcer before leaving television to write novels. Chosen by The Horn Book as a talented newcomer to the children’s literature scene, Wallace writes realistic fiction for young people. Her first novel Little Joe was a finalist for the South Carolina Children’s Book Award and is a national reading pick for the Department of Agriculture and the American Farm Bureau. Wallace’s historical fiction novel Muckers is her first book for young adults. She has also written extensively for magazines, including Highlights and Cobblestone. Wallace lives in New Hampshire with her husband, author Rich Wallace.
