Anastasia Martynova

About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Anastasia is a yoga teacher and facilitator with over eight years of experience guiding individuals and groups through practices rooted in classical yoga, somatic awareness, and compassionate presence.

Her path is grounded in Anahata Yoga and shaped by lived experience. During a profound personal crisis, yoga became a steady support, guiding her toward greater embodiment, emotional resilience, and authenticity. Since then, the practice has remained her foundation—both personally and professionally.

Anastasia holds a PG Diploma in Yoga (500 hours, therapeutic focus, India) and completed 200 hours of Hatha Yoga training in Nepal. Her journey has also included immersive contemplative study, including a ten-day course in Mindfulness in Daily Life at Kopan Buddhist Monastery in Nepal, as well as teachings received in the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Mooji.

In recent years, her work has expanded into somatic and creative facilitation, exploring how embodied rituals and art-based practices can support inner safety, reparenting, and emotional integration. Her approach is trauma-informed, gentle, and experiential—inviting insight through the body rather than the intellect.

A lifelong traveler and writer, Anastasia sees practice as a living process. For her, yoga is not a goal, but a companion—a mindful way of meeting life. It is her honor to share this path with those who feel called to walk it.
