Andrea Stuart, RYT 500

About us

Andrea is a lifelong devotee of yoga and wellness. She believes mindful practices allow us to access our authentic selves and create space for experiencing abundance. Holding an RYT-500 certification, Andrea received her training from Iyengar teacher Sandy Carmellini and anatomy training from physical therapist and yoga teacher Shari Ser. She also cherishes her practices with Arun H.S. of Prashant Yogashraya. As a result, Andrea combines alignment-based asana instruction with imagination and compassion to make yoga accessible, safe, and inspiring. The levity in her instruction is supported by her hope for students to connect more deeply with themselves. Andrea is also a level II Reiki practitioner who credits her love of art, culture, community, and nature for satiating her hunger for symmetry in an abstract world. Andrea's passion is to share her vitality and love of life with others in a way that inspires them to become Tipsy on Life!

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months. Keeping our fingers crossed! Jaimee and Dan

Retreat Guru's Vision

Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
