Molly Nixon

About us

Molly Nixon is a 2015 graduate of the Hridaya Teacher Training Course. She and her partner Kyle are dedicated to serving the Heart by supporting refugees in crisis. She has shared a post on our blog exploring the dance between global awareness and inner peace. Molly has spent the past 18 months volunteering with refugees in, and Turkey. She is currently coordinating the Lifting Hands International project in Northern Greece and Northern Jordan. She offers her services and programs from the project, these range of offerings, including: Women’s English lessons German lessons for women, men, and teenagers Theater workshops Trauma-sensitive yoga Fitness classes Weekly family days in the park Music programs (guitar, harmonica, ukulele, saz, keyboard, songwriting, etc.) Women’s hours Spanish lessons Children’s activities

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months.
