Vladimir Jovicevic

About The Teacher

Born in Montenegro in 1987, Vladimir showed an interest in art and painting from a young age. He attended a school of painting in the cultural centre of Tivat, led by academic painters Ljubomir Popadic and Momcilo Macanovic. He later moved to Italy to study at the Accedemia di Bella Arte di Terni. After graduation he continued training in realist painting at the Florence Academy of Art.  He received a scholarship as a student instructor after 2 years of studying, and in 2013 was awarded the annual prize for Best Painting of the Year. Vladimir is now a Principal Instructor at the Florence Academy of Art, where he has been teaching for 4 years. He also runs his own private atelier, Atelier San Lorenzo. For Vladimir, teaching is a vocation, and he makes it his personal goal to achieve the best results and the individual improvement of every student.  See more of Vlad’s work at www.vladimirjovicevic.com
