Before her retirement Marguerite Van Die held a joint appointment in history at Queen’s University and in the history of Christianity at Queen’s Theological College. Her publications include An Evangelical Mind: Nathanael Burwash and the Methodist Tradition in Canada (McGill Queen’s 1989), and Religion, Family and Community in Victorian Canada: the Colby’s of Carrollcroft (McGill Queen’s 2005), as well as numerous articles on nineteenth-century evangelical Protestantism. In her teaching and research she draws attention to the relation between religious belief and practice in daily life.Source: fiveoaks.secure.retreat.guru
