I had never been to one of Satya's retreats and had never been to Manitou Springs, CO. What a beautiful surprise the whole experience was! The Sun Mountain Center was like staying at a beautifully restored victorian era mansion; beautiful and spacious rooms, and very quiet. I'm a foodie, and I can say that the daily chef-prepared meals were incredible. I enjoyed eating in a community settings with the other retreat participants and Satya was a gentle, loving presence throughout the weekend. Satya offered daily yoga practices ranging from more active practices to restorative stretching in the evening. Three things that stood out to me were Satya's deep wisdom, beautiful chanting and incredible hands-on assists. I highly recommend attending a retreat with Satya!
