About us

Massage & Energy Work Wendy is originally from Scotland but, after many years of working in corporate London, she left the UK and has been travelling, studying and experiencing different cultures for almost the last 10 years. She is a graduate of the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado’s 900 hour Integrative Massage Techniques course.   She is qualified in Craniosacral Therapy, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Energy Work and many other bodywork modalities. She can use a variety of these techniques to tailor each massage to each client’s specific physical and emotional needs. She has experience in working in hotels and retreats in Mexico, Indonesia, Japan and Ukraine and also had a busy private massage practice in Denver, Colorado. At Akasha Wellness Retreat Wendy is practicing amongst traditional massage therapies, Craniosacral Therapy with Chakra Balancing. Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the sacrum, cranium bones, cranial nerves, membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It supports and enhances the body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself, as well as helping to reduce stress…
