About The Teacher

I have been fascinated by the effects of food on the human body since I became a vegetarian in my teens. This journey led me to explore many different diets like macrobiotics, raw, vegan, and other whole foods diets. I was intuitively looking for what worked for my body at various stages in my life.

I studied massage therapy at The Institute for Beauty and Wellness in Milwaukee, Wisconsin graduating in December of 2000. In massage school I learned about the power of touch and our energetic body.

Next, on my journey I became a parent and studied Rudolf Steiner inspired childcare called Life Ways. This brought nutrition and holistic healthcare together in a powerful way for me. I had a small in home childcare business for several years.

I was given the opportunity to redefine myself in 2012 and enrolled at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. IIN gave me the tools and confidence I needed to teach others how to find and nurture their best expressions of themselves. Life is a journey and I am here to support you on your path.I continued my education and became a registered yoga teacher in June of 2013.

When not on my mat or experimenting in the kitchen you might find me knitting with friends or hiking the local trails.
