Massage Therapist Body worker and energy healer. With an extensive education in anatomy and physiology.
Training started early for Heidi with harmonious life skills. Heide grew up on a working cattle ranch in Gunnison County. She attributes her intuition, therapeutic touch and respect for life to life on the ranch where she cared for wildlife, livestock and the land. Working as a homeschool mom, she taught a variety of science classes for local supportgroups, organized field trips and various events for homeschoolers, and volunteered at a state level. Interests in science and learning became more serious when her eldestchild struggled with learning disabilities. To better help integrate the required therapies, she became certified in Bowen Therapy in 1998. Graduating as a certified neuromuscular therapist in 2003 from CIMT, Heide opened her practice in Colorado Springs in 2004. She went on to complete certifications in SpaTherapy (BCMT 2006) and Neurology for Bodyworkers (MTIC 2011). With a commitment to cutting-edge technologies, studies in CranioSacral Therapy, Acutronics and Color Therapy.Heidi has provided her clients with a diverse set of modalities. She is a Landmark graduate from the Curriculum for Living Series and a graduate from Final Touch Finishing School. She regularly participates in cadaver lab workshops to further understand human anatomy towards the promotion of wellness for all. True to her company's name, Interwoven Eight, she seeks wellness for all from a wholistic perspective. Developed over a period of thirty years, “Mandorlae Retreat” comes to you from Heide's personal motto: “An agricultural-based love of life in service to humanity through nourishing roots.” Lessons from the ranch, homeschooling and her twelve year therapeutic massage practice offer unique possibilities for what it means to be a female expression of humanity.
