About us

Has studied the medicinal, shamanic, and energetic properties of plants since she was a small child. Her first vision quest was at 14 with a Crow medicine man, who also taught her the stories of the cactus, which lead to her journey to Peru many years later. Having always been fascinated with the spirit realm she continued to study cultures and medicines which included this element as part of the healing modalities offered to the people. For over 20 years she has apprenticed as a midwife's assistant & doula, worked in alcohol and drug detox clinics utilizing the NADA protocol, supported teenage girls as a rape & mental health counselor, studied nutrition, Shiatsu, Chi Nei Tsang with Mantak Chia, Tui Na, wilderness survival skills, became a yoga instructor that teaches anatomy, and followed in the priestess path.

The more she experienced and learned the more she became convinced of the emotional-mind-body-spirit connection. This brought her to Taoist medicine, martial arts, meditation, and her next step on the medicine path. Graduating with a master's degree from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine she proceeded to volunteer with the Acupuncture Relief Project in Nepal. She has volunteered her services, as well as learned from the local medicine workers of the area, in Canada, the US, Native American Reservations, Tanzania, Thailand, India, Mexico, & Peru. She loves spending time with her son, scuba diving, climbing, dancing, singing, reading, learning, and traveling all over the heart realm collecting wisdom. Her current projects are retreats focused on Sacred Sexuality, the Priestess Path, and Ancient Women's Wisdom in a way that bridges the gap between modern and Native teachings. Oha!

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Because I sometimes work up to 16 hours a day, and need time to stop and breathe. Mary
