About The Teacher

My teaching style is all about welcoming my students into their own skin. I teach body awareness, but more than that, I teach body love, and loving the present moment, just as it is. Just as they are. Through a blend of vinyasa flow yoga and trauma-releasing techniques my instruction aims to help students clear a space inside of themselves big enough for their truth to bloom into. My hope is that students leave my class feeling whole, alive, free, strong and infinitely worthy of the space they take up. I have a background in trauma-focused psychology and crisis counseling. On a personal note, I love animals, nature, and language. On my retreats I teach two classes a day. One is a powerful vinyasa flow aimed at moving energy, soul embodiment, and strengthening. The other is a yin style class created to release tension, lengthen and stretch deep muscle tissue, and allow for stored emotions to move through.
