About the Teacher
Why study with them?
My name is Aidi. I was born in Estonia during the Soviet Union era and grew up helping my grandmother with her farm. During my childhood I was surrounded by farm animals and wildlife, ancient forests, lakes and rivers, that connected me deeply to the nature, elements, world of spirits and all the living creatures that cohabit our Earth.
When Estonia became independent, my curiosity and desire for freedom and adventure led me to leave the country and travel for over 2 decades, volunteering in permaculture projects, music events, yoga centers and animal rescue organizations.
On my journeys I was introduced to psychedelic culture, discovered various healing modalities of different traditions and became passionate about self-exploration, personal growth and wellbeing. I spent years in India training in Iyengar yoga and exploring Vedic philosophy and ayurveda. Throughout my travels I regularly took part in psychedelic music events where I discovered LSD and Psilocybin mushrooms. Explorations of these powerful substances deepened my self-understanding and how I relate to the world, revealed layers of personal insight helping to peel off unhealthy habits and patterns. These experiences were often challenging, reopening old wounds and tapping into childhood traumas leaving me questioning myself. This motivated me to dive into the study of Trauma informed plant medicine facilitation, Somatic Plant Medicine Integration by Atira Tan and Compassionate Inquiry method by Dr. Gábor Mate. I am also a graduate of Synthesis Institute of psychedelic studies and psilocybin facilitation and further more i am trained in Embodied Facilitation for Transformative spaces.
My roots guided me to settle in Portugal, on the land where I now enjoy slow paced living surrounded by nature and where I have created a sanctuary for myself and for those who feel the calling to work with mushroom medicine. Together with my partner we are seeking to inspire others through regenerative practices of caring for our land, natural building workshops, growing mushrooms and community living.
I am dedicated to supporting others on their journeys of healing and self-discovery, creating spaces for grounded and safe experiences. My approach is rooted in intuitive and heart centered care, holistic living and community support.
Through my work with mushrooms and yoga, I seek to empower others to connect with their inner wisdom and unique gifts, release unhealthy patterns and find freedom in a holistic, healthy lifestyle.
