About us

Booker brings her heart, wisdom, and compassion to the intersection of social justice, yoga, and mindfulness. She has shared these practices with vulnerable populations in New York City since 2006, and travels nationally utilizing the foundation of embodied wisdom to support the sustainability of front line workers who work directly with at-risk communities. She is on faculty with the Prison Mindfulness Institute, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, Insight Meditation Society and Shambhala Mountain Center. She graduated from Spirit Rock’s Community Dharma Leader’s Training in 2017, and will begin their four-year Dharma Teacher Training in 2017. Visit Booker at LeslieBooker.com.
