Dr. Sherif Zaher brings a unique blend of academic excellence and athletic achievement to our team. He holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and a master’s degree in sports performance, combining deep psychological insight with elite-level coaching expertise. A former NCAA champion with the University of Georgia (1999), Sherif spent six years as a Division I head coach, shaping top-tier collegiate athletes.
On the international stage, Sherif has reached the pinnacle of Masters tennis, achieving the world #1 ITF ranking in doubles in both the 40+ and 45+ categories. He is a Buffalo Tennis Hall of Fame inductee and an African Games Pickleball Champion in both singles and mixed doubles.
As co-founder and partner of ZZsports, Sherif plays a vital role in designing high-impact sports experiences. His dedication to performance, mindset, and holistic development makes him an essential part of our retreat leadership.
