For over 20 years, Jemima has been practicing various disciplines of yoga and mastered a working knowledge of numerous traditional teachings that underpin wellness of mind, body and spirit. She also a writer, artist and mother of two. Drawn to the fundamental psychology of being human and driven by the notion that a pleasurable and meaningful life is everyone’s birthright - her studies to this end have included (but are not limited to) psychoanalysis, Buddhism, Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine and neurosciences. Jemima has worked with many skilled facilitators in the Mind Body Spirit sector and has taught alongside Barefoot Doctor, Jamie Catto and Nick Clements. She regularly teaches in schools, at festivals and at yoga events as well as in private one to one sessions and as part of AYVA Arts & Yoga CIC, of which she is a co-founder. Jemima is trained in Yoga, NLP and Hypnotherapy, and well-versed in naturopathic nutrition. Using her wealth of experience she creates an environment for guests that is conducive to healing and has developed a unique form of restorative Hatha yoga that develops emotional, physical and mental strength by dissolving the residue left by our conditioning and life experiences. When the layers are removed, our true nature is revealed, along with improved health, creativity and vitality.
