Why study with them?
Morne founded and owns Wilderness Trading Co, an establishment invested in the cultivation of exotic (Eastern) organic mushrooms. Morne will be discussing the health benefits of exotic mushrooms and then guiding us through an interactive workshop we will be shown how to cultivate, harvest and prepare them, by preparing our own mushroom grow kit.
Wilderness Trading Co is a small scale organic farm in the heart of the Garden Route. We specialize in exotic mushrooms with a focus on sustainable cultivation methods minimizing plastic use. For our nursery, which will be open to the public by the end of the year, we make use of our mushroom substrate and other organic byproducts which are normally discarded to make our compost and potting soil. We're all about growing and cultivating, naturally!
